Laser Therapy has been widely utilized in Europe by physical therapists, nurses and doctors as far back as the 1970’s. Now, after FDA clearance in 2002, Laser Therapy is being used extensively in the United States.

$50/session. Some insurance is starting to cover this. UHC/UMR and some medicare supplement plans. You can call your insurance company to verify this procedure. The procedure code is 97039.

How many sessions are typically needed?

It depends on the condition. Most of the published studies require 9-12 sessions for chronic conditions.

What conditions can laser therapy help?

Most common conditions include:
